Journal Entry

As I wrote my journal entry yesterday, I had to stop and just marvel at how much I have grown in a little over a year. As I shared in my article Perception Is Reality, I was really facing a rough time in my life. Through a determined effort to grow, I have come a long way in a relatively short period of time.

I want to share with you my journal entry from yesterday, in hopes it will inspire and encourage others to realize that we all have the ability to grow, no matter what our current circumstances may be.

So many things are changing for me. In my personal development, I am becoming much more aware. Not only of my self, but of others, and the world at large. I'm beginning to see where I fit in at this stage of my journey.

I have become very goal focused. I am trying to keep a nice balance of goals, and making sure they are aligned with my values. I'm feeling more fulfilled, and at peace within myself.

In my quest to grow, I am keeping my mind open and absorbing as much knowledge as possible. I find myself learning about new subjects that I had no idea I would be interested in. I'm studying numerology, dream meanings, and buddhism.

I am learning that I do not need to accept any one religion or belief system as the only truth. What is important is from anything I learn is what resonates with me. What I am getting is an amazing number of synchronicities, and that is helping me to know I am on the right path.

I feel like a baby in my personal development stages. Yet it is so exciting because I know there is so much more within me.

I have received some some great support and feedback for my blog. That one idea, has led me to establish some great online relationships. The very fact that it is working, and I am truly inspiring others, gives me such a positive glow.

It feels so good to let my light shine!

Wonderful entry Rob, thanks for sharing your personal thoughts. I agree with you 100% on not being constraint to one religious belief - every religion can teach us something great about ourselves, our spirituality, and our world.

Well said!
